Where should I stay?

We recommend staying either in El Sant Cugat if you want to be in the town centre and in walking distance of everything. Or alternatively in Qgat which is 10 minutes in a taxi but is a higher standard of accommodation (with a swimming pool).

Is there a dress code?

Our wedding will follow a smart Mediterranean attire dress code—think light, elegant, and comfortable outfits suitable for warm weather. Linen suits, flowy dresses, and chic summer styles are perfect. We kindly ask that shorts are reserved for children only.

What airport should I fly into?

If you're flying from Liverpool, Manchester, Dublin, London, Sevilla or New York (or whatever Brandon's local airport is...) - we recommend Barcelona El Prat Airport. See how to get there section for more details.

If you're flying from Ireland West Airport Knock we recommend Girona Airport which is 50 minutes away from Sant Cugat and there will be transport put on.

Question 4

What is the easiest way to get to the monastery?

If you're staying in El Sant Cugat, you can walk in less than 5 minutes. If you're staying in Qgat there will be a bus provided to bring you directly to the monastery. After the monastery, all guests will be transported to Can Magi and back to their hotels after the party.

Is there anything to do in Sant Cugat del Valles?

Yes loads! Sant Cugat is a small town well connected to Barcelona. In the town itself there are many bars and restaurants that are family friendly, there are small boutique shops, public swimming pool, parks and padel courts.

Would it be easy to get into Barcelona from Sant Cugat?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can take the S1 or S2 train from "Sant Cugat Centre" train station. Trains are every 10 minutes and will drop you into Placa Catalunya. It takes just under 30 minutes.
